Your privacy

What we collect

Your height and, if you choose, weight. While you stand in front of the camera, your phone finds 33 body points (for example shoulders and wrists) and your outline, and sends only the point positions and your body width at 25 heights between shoulders and hips. The camera picture itself stays on your phone and is never uploaded or stored.

What we keep

The measurements you confirm, kept under an ID that is separate from your name and phone number. Your name, phone and address are kept only to deliver your order.

Design ideas

What you type in the design studio, and any inspiration photo you choose to upload, is sent to our design AI provider to turn it into a design. Photos are read once for that and are not stored by Alayam. Upload pictures of clothes, not of other people.

AI try-on photo

If you choose "See it on me — AI photo", the photo you upload is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to make one image of you wearing the design. Alayam does not store your photo. The result is sent to your phone and deleted from our server straight away (at the latest after 15 minutes). OpenAI may keep requests for up to 30 days to check for misuse, under its own policy, and does not use them to train its models. Use photos of yourself only: no other people and no children.

Accounts

If you create an account, we keep your name, mobile number, password (stored only as a secure hash), and the address and state you save, so you can see your orders and reuse your measurements. You can delete your account and saved measurements from the account page at any time; orders already placed are kept for delivery, invoices and alterations. Partner boutiques and tailors see only the orders assigned to them, with measurements but never your name, phone number or address.

Payments

Payments are handled by Razorpay in its own secure window. Alayam never sees or stores your card, UPI or bank details; we keep only the payment reference and amount for your order.

Who sees it

The tailor sees your measurements and order number, never your name, phone or address.

On your device

So you can carry on later, your phone or computer keeps your design in progress and a link to your measurements for 7 days. If you sign in, a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. Tap "Start again" on the home page to remove it at once, for example on a shared device.

How long

Saved measurements: until you delete them, or after 12 months without use. Measurements on an order: until 90 days after delivery, to cover alterations.

Your choices

You can view, correct or delete your measurements, and withdraw consent, at any time. We never use your data to train models unless you separately opt in.
